Please mark your calendars for the 2011 Summer Retreat on Friday, August 19 through Sunday, August 21. This is a time for everyone to get away from the daily grind, spend time with their brothers and sisters in Christ, and to recharge their spiritual batteries.
This year we will be going to the Stony Point Center (www.stonypointcenter.org) in Rockland County, NY. Our rooms will be in The Lodges with each room having two beds. Each lodge offering a shared lounge with wireless Internet access and a kitchette.
The event is fully paid for by the church, although contributions are always welcome to help with costs.
Your should have received an evite for the event (if not, please contact Brian Park). Please respond by July 1 so we can get a headcount and start figuring out the rooming situation.
Please make every effort to attend this special event. |
