In this time of economic crisis, people are afraid of losing their jobs. The government is going out of its way to provide for its people. Banks advertise relating stability and financial security. In light of these times, we believe that the church should go out of its way to provide for the people of God proclaiming the stability and security based on our solid relationship with the God made possible through Jesus Christ. Therefore, we would like to invite you to a special event we are hosting from May 1-3. It is called, “Stimulus Package Weekend: Bailing Out Your Spiritual Life.” The theme is “Developing & Maintaining Right Relationships.” The event welcomes all English speakers from junior high on up. We have seminars targeted for youth group students, working individuals, as well as for married couples with or without kids. We want to remind believers to be aware of the importance of their relationship with the Lord and provide them with the challenge and equip them with the means by which to nurture it. We want to provide inspiration and encouragement to change through communal worship, proclamation of Gospel, teaching through seminars, and fellowship. The keynote speaker will be Rev. Peter Kim, a co-pastor at the Mosaic Church of North Carolina. (Their website is: www.mosaic4god.com) Our worship band and choir have been practicing to lead worshippers in a heart-felt time of music and song. We have also invited seminar speakers to give a 45-minute seminar on various topics such as healthy Christian marriage & child-rearing, the question of money and God, and how to maintain balanced lives (e.g. academic, school, & social aspects). In addition, we want to provide a time for believers to enjoy good fun, food, and fellowship by providing a BBQ/picnic time prior to all the worship and seminars. The schedule looks like this: Friday, May 1 · 7:30 PM – Evening Worship Saturday, May 2 · 12 PM – Picnic/BBQ · 2 PM – Praise · 3 PM – Seminar 1 · 4 PM – Seminar 2 · 5 PM – Dinner · 6 PM – Evening Worship Sunday, May 3 · 11:30 AM – Sunday Service We look forward to you joining us.
